Working with Drake....

"I didn't wanted a lot of collaborations on the album, because I preferred to bring out my musc. However, there are some collaborationsin this album that that I can't wait people to hear them because I think they'll be amazed!" - Justin

One of these super collaborations had been made with one of Justin's Best friends, the Canadian rapper Drake.

On November 2009 was very important year for both Justin and Drake. Justin made a dive in the pop stage when, in November 2009, the EP My World album was released with seven songs, the same time that Drake had just signed to Lil Wayne's company, Young Money Entertaintment and was putting his final touches at his album Thank Me Later. Neither of them knew at that time that their music would change their lives forever!

Q: How can someone contribute to the Pencils of Promise?

A: A simple way is to become a member at our official website. Also we are trying to encourge the purchase of gift packages. Birthday Cards, Graduation Gifts, and generally, any opportunity to give a gift from the Pencils of Promise. That's an easy way to help!

Q:What is your advice to everyone out there, that wants to contibute actively?

A: The most important thing for each of us is to find the real passion. When you find what you really want, then you can use it to make the world better. Justin is the best example! Because with  his huge talent in music and his amazing live performances he managed to use his big love for music and inspire a thousand fans to devote themselves to charity. To use your talent for such a purpose is the best way to make a difference!

Q: What are your goals for the Pencils of Promise 1012?

A: In 2012, our great goal is to surpass the record of 100 schools. It's not sure that we will succeed-we still need many surporters who will believe in our goal and help-, but we hope that all will go well.

Q: What was the most important time for you so far?

A: I distinguish two. The first was when we built the first school since it became a dream come true. It's very exciting to change the lives of others. The second important moment was recently, when we builded the 50th school. To have a dream all these years and to see them being implemented everyday is amazing!

Q: What involment do you think Justin will have a few years from now? Last year you organized a contest- do you prepare something similar for 2012 or 2013?

A: Justin will definitely participate in this year's Pencils of Promise. Autumn starts the program again "Schools for All". This is another contest, through which all schools are asked to raise money for this purpose, the school that collects the largest ammount will have a respective meeting with Justin and me.

FUN FACT: The Pencils of Promise, in 2.000.000 teaching hours, provided an opportunity to 4.000 children to be educated and affected positively the lives of 38.000 people.

Everything started from a simple question to a small boy at the crowded roads in India in 2008: ''What would you like more in the world?'' Imagine the surprise of Adam Braun when the boy with a begging look answered: ''A pencil''.
A lot of us take for granted the hope and inspiration that we gain just because we have the ability to write. After that incident of 2008, could no longer ignore the call for help. So he began the organization Pencils of Promise(PoP). For almost 4 years, Adam and his team helped to build over than 50 schools all around the world, and they don't have no intention to stop.
